DISCOVER THE POWER OF EVANS 15% VITAMIN C

VITAMIN C – A POTENT ANTIOXIDANT

Vitamin C is touted as one of the best anti-aging ingredients on the market — and the key to maintaining a smooth, even, and glowy complexion. A potent antioxidant, it is often found in skincare products via its scientific name, Ascorbic Acid or L-Ascorbic Acid.

WHY DOES OUR SKIN NEED ANTIOXIDANTS?

Free radicals in the body can lead to oxidative stress and wreck havoc on our cells, tissue and organs like our skin. Antioxidants like Vitamin C are powerful molecules that can neutralise free radicals, restoring balance and promoting healthy cellular activity.

Great Vit C Serum

Jacylene ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

When I put the first drop on my hand, it felt super oily but when I applied it on my face to my surprise it was absorbed extremely fast by my skin. My skin looked more bright after 30 days of using the serum.

Brighter Skin

Aishah ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️★

After 4 weeks of continuous use, I feel that my overall complexion is brighter. Appearance of pores and fine lines are less visible too. With consistent use, I am sure I will see more differences in the future.

Freckles Lightened

Melissa.Chan⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Have been using this for about a month I must say it helped have my skin radiance and my freckles have slightly lightened slightly but probably may see better results in the long run. It's easily absorbed and easy to apply.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Can I Incorporate a Vitamin C Serum into my Skincare Routine?

We recommend applying the vitamin C serum after cleansing and toning, and before moisturizer and sunscreen.

Can I Use Vitamin C Serums in the Morning?

Yes. Vitamin C is safe to be used day and/or night. When applied in the morning, it works throughout the day to protect your skin against harmful elements like UV rays and free radicals that leave your skin looking dull. Always use a good sunscreen in the day to protect your skin.

Can I Use Vitamin C Serums With Other Skincare Products?

Generally, vitamin C can be used safely with most skincare products. However, here are some ingredients we recommend not to use in conjunction with a vitamin C serum:

  • Benzoyl Peroxide – Used to treat mild - moderate acne, can cause vitamin C to oxidize, thus counteracting the effects
  • Retinol – Vitamin A, good anti-aging ingredient but combining with vitamin C can cause peeling, redness and irritation
  • AHA/BHA – Chemical exfoliants that help with cell renewal, combining with vitamin C can cause irritation

When in doubt, do consult your dermatologist before application.

When Can I Expect to See Results?

Results may vary depending on individual skin type and concerns, however, most people start to see improvements in their skin complexion within a few weeks of using the serum regularly and consistently. In our recent product trial, most of the users reported skin improvements within 30 days.

Can Vitamin C Serums Cause Sensitivity or Irritation?

Most people are able to use vitamin C serums safely, however, some individuals may experience slight irritation or sensitivity, especially if they have sensitive skin or have never used a vitamin C product before. It is recommended to start with a lower concentration (10% Vitamin C) and to use just 1 or 2 drops, then gradually increase to a higher concentration (15% Vitamin C) to minimize the risk of irritation.

What Should I look for When Choosing a Vitamin C Serum?

The best concentration for vitamin C to be effective is between 10-20%. Look for a serum that is packaged in an opaque container as that helps protect the serum from light and air, which causes oxidation.
